Tuan Chau Group’s predecessor was Au Lac Quang Ninh Co., Ltd. headquartered on Tuan Chau island, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, established on August 2, 1997.

Tuan Chau 2 International Passenger Port was officially inaugurated by the Ministry of Transport and Tuan Chau Group. The length of port 2's anchorage is 7km and can accommodate up to 2,000 cruise ships. Tuan Chau International Cruise Port was recognized by the Vietnam Records Organization as the largest man-made cruise port in Vietnam.

Tuan Chau Group and Him Lam Joint Stock Company cooperate to build Tuan Chau golf course. The world-standard golf course project includes 27 holes with a width of 100 yards and a length of 250 yards.
